Capstone Projects allow the student to identify and develop a project that puts into practice the leadership skills and competencies learned during the courses of study. Students which are enrolled with CECOS University of IT & Emerging Sciences in the program of Bachelors of Computer Science (BSCS/BSSE/BSAI/BSCybSec) is required to complete a final year project in final year of their studies, students can select one of the three provided streams by Faculty of CS & IT.
Every student undertaking the Capstone Projects stream will be required to complete the project under the supervision of the Computer Science academic staff (Teacher/ Design Coach) or an external supervisor from the industry.
A group of 2 to 3 students or 4 in exceptional cases undertake a design challenge project in real life environment related to software/IT managerial and organizational problems that need solutions.
The Project will enable students to:
The Capstone Project Committee will be comprised of eleven key members, the purpose of this committee is to provide overall strategic direction, guidance and monitoring of all the processes. Three Research Clusters exist by the approval of HoD (Clusters)
